L.Y. Study transforms an 80s Canados Yacht into a luxury hotel

Every detail has been carefully considered to achieve the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. We have transformed each space into an oasis of well-being and comfort, inspired by the majesty of the marine environment and the serenity that emanates from Mediterranean nature.

This luxury yacht, 26 meters long and 6.40 meters wide, presented the original characteristics: The design was outdated and lacked appeal and uniqueness. The challenge of L.Y studio has been to provide harmony and serenity to all the rooms, giving a unique identity to this ship Canados. The interior design project has been carried out on the entire yacht, which includes the bow, the common area and 4 cabins, 1 master, 1 VIP and 2 Twin.

To achieve a total renovation of the ship’s image, L.Y. studio has taken into account every detail. The chromatic basis of the entire project has been white tones combined with sand coatings on the bow and fly upholstery. The decorative elements provide the essential color, coral in textiles and natural greens that dress the table and the decorative pieces in the interiors.

The aesthetic concepts have been selected in detail, seeking to define the ship with an Ibizan personality. The colors of the Pitiusas Islands, greens and corals, are present in the elements that make up each scene and evoke sensations of harmony, beauty and warmth, the essence of the Mediterranean Sea.

Each of the four cabins displays a characteristic personality with the L.Y. seal. | Starting from the fact that the project had to respect the fixed furniture of the ship, it was possible to make small modifications without moving fixed parts.

the fly and the deck

One of the areas that received special attention was the upper part of the Fly, a privileged place where the most impressive sunsets become the backdrop for unforgettable dinners and moments of relaxation. We have added a grab bar, meticulously designed and using salt- and sun-resistant materials. The Corian top and Teak wood details treated especially for outdoors provide a perfect combination of durability and aesthetics.

While we faced the challenge of stabilizing the bar in an environment where movement is constant, we found innovative solutions, such as the cantilever design and LED lighting, that not only solved the technical problems but also highlighted the beauty and functionality of the bar. bar.

EXCLUSIVE TABLES THAT CAPTIVATE IN EVERY SPACE OF THE YACHT

The table in the Fly area and the one in the stern were made the same, following the same stylized design, complementing the general aesthetics of the yacht.

We have interpreted the tables with a sustainable wooden structure and are reinforced, with an elegant design, to support the board. Composed of a ceramic top topped with Corian, the detail of the rounded edges helps us to provide continuity with the line of the boats that provide security with the movement of the boat.

Inside, the design of the main dining table is made with a board made up of a wooden structure and a Dekton top, with a lid system that can move to leave more space when used, serving up to 8 guests.

On the other hand, the coffee table in the living area is made with the same design to follow the line, being a fixed table.

The last table that is designed for the interior, in the crew area, is differentiated with a smooth conical leg and a completely white top.

These tables have a different and very attractive design for frequent use without the need for more clothing, if required by the occasion and the crew’s service personnel. All of them are securely fixed, without danger of unwanted movements, guaranteeing stability at all times.

PERSONALIZED ELEGANCE

During the renovation process, we placed great importance on removing the existing wood and replacing it with a white coating. This coating has been carefully selected to withstand continuous use with good maintenance, providing a fresh and bright appearance. We strive to create an environment where light tones are the protagonists, providing a feeling of spaciousness and freshness in every corner of the yacht.

In addition to changes to the furniture and coverings, we have added new decorative details to enhance the beauty and charm of the space. We have selected exclusive sculptures from Maison&Objet, as well as exclusive pieces for table service, adding a touch of distinction and sophistication to each experience on board.
